a muddy Sundays riding gave good opportunity to put our new brakes through their paces. Rain, more rain, hail stones and mud made for some interesting riding. Equiped with sintered pads the new EXO brake has a good amount of power keeping these tricky conditions in check.

New EXO Brake put through its paces
February 19th, 2012Clarks new EXO brake has been designed around the requirements of the mountain bike manufacturers. Basically, this means it’s a smaller, lighter version of its big brother SKELETAL. It’s 2/3 finger, compact radial style lever configuration makes for a super stylish and dynamic brake. Been riding it in the UK now for about a month and it is living up to all the expectations of the trail rider. It’s been a cold weekend but after a few hours riding on Cannock Chase these brakes only are in need of some much needed cleaning. Roll on the Spring.

Customizing with SKELETAL
December 1st, 2010Riding the Chase
November 20th, 2010We really believe in our products at Clarks and constantly challenge their performance as well as my own that is! I rode the Monkey at Cannock Chase last week (http://chasetrails.co.uk/) using my set of Skeletal brakes which now have celebrated their first birthday on my Kona Dawg. They are performing really well and to be honest they have been ridden really hard and as my own performance and fitness has improved, it’s a really challenging course for those who havent ridden it yet, but also a great place to meet up with mates, have blast on the bikes and then pop into Swinnertons (http://www.bikechase.co.uk/) where you can clean you bike and possibly yourself if you get as covered as I do. Don’t be expecting a luxury shower though, they are pressure washers to remove all the mud from your bike only!
We would love to see any pictures of your Clarks brakes on your bikes, send them in to us at info@clarkscyclesystems.com and we’ll publish them on the site!
Thanks for reading

New Products Range 2011
November 12th, 2010We been working hard here at CLARKS to develop new ranges of products for 2011. We had a fantastic response in Germany this year at the EuroBike show and reviews through magazines have been extremely useful too. It would be great to hear your comments on this new GOLD range of products?
